BlissConnect provides online counselling sessions, and is operated by HappyHues Ventures, which is responsible for the personal information described here. This page explains what we hold about you, why, who else can see it, and how to have it deleted.
We deliberately collect very little. To book a session we need:
If you write to us through our contact form, we also keep your message and whatever name, email address or phone number you give us, so that we can reply.
We do not ask for your address, date of birth, medical history or identity documents, and we never see your card or bank details — UPI payments go directly from your bank to ours.
Sessions are held on Zoom and are recorded for quality assurance. You are told this before you book and must agree to it in order to book, and we keep a record of that agreement.
If you would prefer not to be recorded, please contact us before booking so we can discuss it.
To verify it is really you booking, to hold your appointment, to remind and contact you about it, to reconcile your payment, to deliver and quality-check the session, and to respond when you write to us. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not profile you.
Running the service means a small number of other companies handle some of your data:
| Who | What they see | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Our SMS provider | Your mobile number and the text of the message | To send your one-time code and booking confirmation |
| Zoom | The session itself and its recording | To hold and record the session |
| Google (Gmail) | Your appointment time, mobile number and payment reference | The booking notification sent to your counsellor |
| MongoDB Atlas | Your booking record | Our database |
| DigitalOcean | Data passing through our server, hosted in Bangalore | Our hosting |
| Your bank and ours | Your UPI payment and its reference | To take payment |
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.
We keep your bookings and your session recordings until you ask us to delete them. There is no account to close — we identify you by your mobile number — so deletion is something you request and we carry out by hand.
Two things clear themselves automatically:
You can ask us to:
To do any of these, use our contact form and choose “Request to delete my data”. You will be given a reference so you can follow it up. We handle these by hand, so please allow a few working days.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us through the contact form, choosing “Complaint or grievance”. We will look into it and come back to you. If you remain unsatisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to booking records is limited to your counsellor and protected by a password. We deliberately hold as little as we can, which is the simplest protection of all.
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you.
